First Annual Omaha Lead Poisoning Prevention and Healthy Homes Conference

The First Annual Omaha Lead Poisoning Prevention and Healthy Homes Conference will aim to:
Convey a positive message to increase awareness and education of lead poisoning and healthy homes issues among organizations and agencies
Focus on Omaha issues related to lead and healthy homes, such as:
The Omaha Lead Site – EPA’s largest residential Superfund site
Healthy homes topics like radon, mold, and asthma
The Conference will be held in March 15-16, 2010 at the University of Nebraska-Omaha: Milo Bail Student Center.
Conference speakers include:
Dr. Kim Dietrich – Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and written extensively on the affects of lead poisoning on children
Ruth Ann Norton - executive director of the Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning in Maryland
Rick Reibstein and Timothy Hemsath
