I am running for re-election because I am committed to the future of our community. For the past four years, I have worked in the Legislature to make downtown and South Omaha an even better place to live, work and raise a family. I have fought for investments in education and job creation, policies that will reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and property tax relief for working families.
As your representative, I will continue to fight for a strong economy, strong neighborhoods, and strong schools. I will push for incentives that create good jobs with good benefits. I’ll ensure that law enforcement has the tools they need to crack down on violent crime and vandalism in our community. I will also lead efforts to make sure our schools have what they need to prepare our kids to compete in a global economy.
