It is an honor to represent the families and neighborhoods of downtown and South Omaha in the Nebraska Legislature.

For the past five years, I have fought for investments that will be the foundation of a strong Nebraska for years to come. I have prioritized funding for education, from quality child care to higher education. I have pushed for legislation that will reduce our dependence on foreign oil and lead to development of alternatives like wind energy and natural gas. As a member of the budget-writing committee, I have stood for a balanced budget and property tax relief for homeowners.

The future of Nebraska is in our hands today. As your representative, I will do everything I can to move us forward.
